Introduction
Stress is a severe reaction that people have towards adverse pressure or other kinds of demands that have been put in them. Most employees at different work places do under go through enormous stressful situations. One of the work places where most employees are always under stress is a large banking institution with a big human resource department. For instance, bank employees are always stressed when their huge number of customers waiting to be served and yet the system is down. Most importantly to note is that, employees working in large banking institutions are always under huge pressure as compared to those employees working in small banking institutions (Wolever et al., 2012).
This paper explores workplace stress in large banking company with large human resource department and the importance of being aware of the stress at workplace.
Importance of being Aware of Stress at Workplace like a Large Banking Institution
There are different kinds of stressful situations that are always present in a large bank with large human resource department. Being aware of the situations that might be stressful is important in very many ways. Being aware of possible stress at work place would enable the employees to develop mechanisms by which they can avoid the situations that can lead to stress. In addition to that, it is important to note that stress if not properly controlled, may lead to serious health conditions. The most important department in bank that may help with reducing the pressure that the employees may go through at the bank is human resource department.
