After outsourcing materials, the company can decide either to use air freight or sea freight to move its products. The decision depends on some factors namely; speed, safety, costs and capacity. In scenarios where goods are required to reach the destination in the shortest time possible or where customers seem impatient air freight would work appropriately because airplane transports goods faster than the ship. However, if the goods outsourced are for future use the company could opt to use the sea freight (Collings, 2013).
