About Google Inc.
Google Inc. is a public listed Company on the NASDAQ stock exchange. The timber symbols on NASDAQ are GOOGL and GOOG while on the Frankfurt stock exchange the ticker symbol is GGQ1. Google Inc. offers diversified products under advertising and as a search engine among others. However, it is widely known to be in the technology sector under the industry of internet information providers.
Google was founded in 1998, Larry Page being the Chief Executive Officer with Sergey Brin, the president. The mission of the Google Company is to shape global information and to make it comprehensively available and conventional. This company has expanded, grown and developed tremendously to serve billions of people globally.
As the enterprise’s mission states, Google focuses on shaping global information and to make it comprehensively available and conventional. This applies to all its products, Google maps, calendars, and also can be used with any operating system or on mobile without charge. This openness is fundamental to why Google products are leading and an explicit linkage to the success of the company (Chaffey, 2007).

Larry Page has been the CEO of Google Inc. since the foundation of the corporation. On August 10th 2015, Sundar Pichai was promoted to be the CEO at Google Inc. Since he joined the Company he has had a meteoric rise and has overtaken the Company in a flux. He joined Google Inc. in 2004, he built the Google toolbar, then took over Chrome, which is the most used web browser, then became the vice president, and then the senior vice president, then the Google’s product chief and now the CEO. Everyone at Google confesses their admiration for the CEO not only due to his engineering talents but for his likability as he is subdued and quiet. The CFO is Ruth Porat, who contributes largely to the success of the corporation in terms of the management style.
Leadership at Google is empowering, such that nothing is dictated by the founders and the leaders. Owing to the academic history of the founding fathers, this and independent thinking has impacted on their leadership style positively. Particularly in the recruitment policy of employing top employees and giving they space to exercise creativity. Further, the leaders get to know their employees, empower them through rewards and promotions, letting employees own the problems to be solved, allowing functionality outside the hierarchy and practicing employees’ performance review through someone they respect (Richards, 2009).

The Company has been tremendously rising in the sector of technology and continued to serve billions of people worldwide.
