In the 13th and 14th century are denoted by different names in Italy. This was a period when artists embraced humanism instead of medieval thoughts. Ognissanti Madonna (Giotto) was a paint that was painted in the church of Ognissanti in Florence by Humiliati. It is a very large painting such that scholars are confused whether it should be the main art in the church. The art is now found in the Uffizi Gallery. The paint has decorated elements that blend with the golden background of the paint. The paint has a shade of warm green and red colors. On the other hand, Santa Trinita Madonna (Cimabue) is a painting painted by an Italian Medieval artist Cimabue. This art was painted for the Santa Trinita Florence. These two paintings have a lot of similarities and differences. This paper will compare Ognissanti Madonna (Giotto) and Santa Trinita Madonna (Cimabue) 
In some cases, it is very difficult for people to notice some of the underlying differences between the two paintings. However, after a close look, it is very easy to notice the differences, for example, the size of the two paintings. For example, Cimabue Madonna is a slighter of the figure. It is more ethereal. Madonna Cimabue is taller and thinner. It is also very elongated. Madonna Cimabue is very short because it is defined by line and makes it look more stretched. On the other hand, Madonna Giotto is very large and more filled out as well. Additionally, Madonna Giotto is very short compared to Madonna Cimabue. The paint has very protruding hips and thighs.
