Conversation between Leonardo Da Vinci and Raphael
One day, a party was organized to bring together the world’s best artists. The goal of this party was to enable artists to talk about their work as well as appreciate the form and technique chosen by other colleagues. In this party, painters Raphael and Leonardo met, and inevitably, began a discussion of their famous work, Madonna in the Meadow and Madonna of the Rocks.
Leonardo: Hello Raphael, it’s nice to see you here. I heard you made your own version of the Madonna, how was it?
Raphael: Nice to see you here too. You mean you haven’t seen my Madonna yet? It was inspired by your very own.
Leonardo: I’m sorry I haven’t seen it. I have been really busy putting manuscripts together. I have heard about it though. How did I inspire your work? I heard your Madonna was very different from mine.
Raphael: Of course it was different because I use a classical style for my paintings. But before I go through the differences in our work, I’d like to tell you how your Madonna influenced mine.
