The advent of pop-after-rock music in the 1960s opened the doors for artists, songwriters, and musicians to explore their diverse abilities in the production of classic hits that marked the hearts of listeners or music lovers in the United States and around the world. Pop music took an entirely different approach from the popular rock and roll music that dominated the airwaves in the previous years.
