Just like many other industries and fields, the fashion industry has grown and changed with time. Fashion is considered a way to express what a person likes to wear and what type of environment they want to be exposed to (Carroll 155). Fashion is not only limited to what we wear; in fact, it involves everything that we eat and select for our bedrooms and offices, etc.
In most situations, fashion is considered what people choose in terms of clothes, footwear, makeup, accessories, and other similar things. The fashion industry has made its selection easier and better than ever by offering a wide range of products, goods, and services. Today, hundreds of fashion brands are present across the world. Some of them are more famous than others, and every young girl and boy wants to be a fashion model.
It’s safe to say that the fashion industry has affected the bodies of many young women or girls. This idea or trend is not new to anybody. It originated when the first fashion brand was founded in the 18th century. Hermes was a French fashion house that was established by Thierry Hermes in 1837. The designer initially produced saddles and different equestrian supplies. This brand is still operating and is giving tough competition to many other fashion brands (Christel 10).
These days, there is a trend of having slim bodies in the fashion industry. The slimmer a girl is, the higher are her chances of getting plenty of fashion show contracts and offers....
