They use a high- tech wood board and then they hit on the board by different strength to make music. In the first part, the background of the stage is green. Their movements are kind of smooth and natural. In the Second part, the background is red. They move very fast and beats are heavy. It can be angry or enthusiastic. In the third part, the background is blue. Their movements become soft. And everyone has their own movements to create the music. They use their legs to move. The percussions of the feet can be interpreted as percussions of the drumsticks. When you begin to watch the dance, there is so much set up that takes place at the beginning where they introduce their tap boards and produce echoes and patterns of sound but later the dance builds up to become lively than it was. Dorrance who is the leader of the dance group appears to be good at the swiping and moves. She displays matching arcs of motion that match the distinctive sound that is produced. The dancing moves match the music and as such it creates an enjoying experience. One of the things that I noticed about the dance is the way in which the Dorrance dance group take the audience along with them when they are performing.
