Drawings are a form of art that has a long history that dates back to the16TH century. The drawings were used to make images that were used to communicate specific information when keenly interpreted. The drawing process involved the use of excellent skills inn drawings and tools. There also techniques used in the image drawings such as line drawing, blending, hatching, and scribing. A drafter comes up with a message he/she wants to communicate to the society and uses comics, animations, and illustrations to pass it drawing through drawings. The death of the general Wolfe and Raft of the medusa are some of the most significant artistic works in the history of arts. The two have excellent art with an important message. This discussion compares the contents and the composition of the artworks using the Elements of art between the two drawings.
West was a young man when he was sent to Italy by his family to advance in his studies. He was not much successful in Italy after studies but moved to London, where he was a teacher. In his work, West uses more figurative representation than literal. His work involves a lot of iconic drawings that represent the ruin of Quebec City and death scenes of the people. He represents the general who used hard training techniques of his army that eventually won the 15-minute battle. The British were under the command of a 32-year-old James Wolfe, but his health was failing as this battle was either to win or die. Although he won the battle, general Wolfe died in the battle at Montcalm. Many people refer to his death as a miscalculated one, and people wondered how there was a victory, yet their leader died.
