The picture painting idea is an art work consisting of the basic elements of art as well as the principles of art. The type of art painting shown in the picture is referred to as oil painting. The size of the painting art given is to an approximate value of 7 by 9 feet. Through the use of the basic elements of art, the artist has been able to make a clear presentation on the painting ground. The basic observable features in the painting consist of six people sitting round a table. The whole system of seating suggests that they have a formal meeting.
Symmetry is a sense of balance where by the entire frame is evenly filled by the occupants. In terms of symmetry, the people seated round the table posses gender balance such that they comprise of three males and three female colleagues. The gender balance stroked and portrayed in the painting suggests the aspect of gender equity. This is evident in the essence that the round symmetrical table talk seems to be a very important in the occasion. There is evidence as far as painting is concerned such that the type of cloths worn symbolizes spirituality.
On the bottom left side of the painting frame, there are yet another group of people. On their hands, they carry working tools as well as weapons. According to the way they handle themselves, they appear to be making a rebellious kind of noise. As far as the entire frame is concerned, the painting is not well balanced in the frame thus nut symmetrical. The symmetry could be well achieved if the table was nearly central. The artist displays asymmetrical mode of frame work.
. The group of people seated round the table seems eating some food while those far from the table seem to be begging for food. Besides the table, there is a dog seated with its face projecting towards the table. The basic information about the painting constitute of the artist name: Viladomat Antoni, Barcelona. From observations, the source of light in the art work is well placed at the centre such that no darkness in the foreground of the picture painting.
There are various elements of art that have been effectively used by the artist so as to achieve success in the in his workmanship. The first important element of art used in the painting shown is the element line. The artist has effectively used lines to demark the shapes of all the objects covered under the picture. Through the use of lines, the artist has succeeded in displaying the boundaries of different objects. The table and all that are arranged on it are all distinguishable due to the use of lines.
