Tesla, Inc. is an American company dealing in manufacturing, servicing, and selling electric automobiles, among other electric products and services. It is headquartered in California, US. From its financial reports for the recent fiscal year, we shall examine its revenues, goodwill, cash dividends, and long-term debt and conclude with a summary overview of the income statement.
Under automotive revenues, the company recognizes revenue once the following goods and services are delivered to the customer; FSD feature service, sell of automotive product, and the credits of automotive regulators. In addition, revenues are recognized over time depending on the contract terms for the following; services for connection of internet, supercharger network access, and over the air software, in addition to automotive leasing products.
