You may want to visit local health or state departments website to collect information regarding your selected problem. 2. Present descriptive statistics of your selected health problem. Local hospital or nursing facilities sometimes report data. If not, then report what is available to the public. 3. Highlight 2 reasons a normal distribution is important and discuss 3 approaches you will take in sampling data to ensure you are able to obtain a normal distribution. 4. Provide a hypothesis (null and alternative) of the question you propose to examine. 5. Present the types of variables you will use to examine the hypothesis. 1. Identify your dependent and independent variable. *Consider your hypothesis. 2. Identify the variables type of measurement. 6. Based on the types of measurement, create a plan for presenting data.
