Life is uncertain since no one knows about the future. It is impossible to predict what will happen at any given moment. One of the life-threatening events is the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19). In December 2019, an outbreak of COVID-19 was detected in mainland China. The disease, being highly contagious, and it is transmitted when infected individual coughs or sneezes. When the expelled droplets enter another person through the eyes, nose, or mouth, the virus is transmitted. The number of infected individuals in the world continues to increase with more than 10 million people around the globe. Indeed, COVID-19 has been a life-threatening event with adverse effects on my daily life.
Since COVID-19 is highly contagious, most governments around the world have restricted movements. To curb the spread of the disease, people have been urged to travel less. If possible, individuals have been advised to ensure minimal movement from one place to another. As an individual who likes traveling, I am unable to move freely as I used to do in the past. Besides, some boarders have been closed as other countries take precautions to prevent the spread of the disease. Travelling is critical for me since it opens my mind and exposes me to other cultural aspects.
