Wasatch Stake Tabernacle
The Wasatch Stake Tabernacle monument built up in 1889, aimed at creating a place for Christians to converge and worship in Heber. During its construction, Christians of all ages contributed with donated labor and materials throughout the two years to its completion. The completion of the tabernacle introduced a new era in which several events could take place inside it. Activities in the community, such as high school graduations, church meetings, band concerts, and theatrical performances, all occurred inside the tabernacle. Therefore, it became the most famous building in Heber due to the purpose it served to its people and the flexibility it provided residents of the city. More so, after the struggle to save it from destruction, the tabernacle reopened hosting the Herber City offices on its one-hundredth anniversary.
