When the individual was a leader? Abraham Lincoln became the president of the United States in 4th march 1861 until 14th April 1865.
Who were the followers of this leader? The citizens of the United States.
Why the individual was considered a leader? It was through his emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate with people which made Abraham Lincoln a great leader. Abraham Lincoln was socially skilled especially when he formed a cabinet with his political rivals during the American civil war. His act of forming an alliance with his political rivalries made him a good conflict resolver and a motivator which is expected of a great leader.
