The Graphic Arts of Game of Throne
Part 1
According to the text, Game of Thrones is comparable with other patriarchal shows like Mad Men, Big Love, Downton Abbey, and The Sopranos. In one way or the other, all of these shows have one common characteristic: the dominance of the male in the patriarchal subculture. The primary focus of Game of Thrones is on rape and violence. Throughout the show, the struggle has been for women to secure their prominence and authority.
Part 2
As already discussed, Game of Thrones resembles shows like The Sopranos and Mad Man. They have portrayed a bygone era, glossing over the struggles and hardships of the unfortunate citizens. In addition, these shows have featured immature princes trying to ascend to power. And of course, they depict how the males are into dominating their female partners in one way or the other.
