My writing for a different audience has affected my way of writing a composition on different audiences. Initially, I thought it was an easy task. However, when I started writing, I realized that I had to change my thinking, emotions, and perspectives to those of my audience. Convincing different audiences concerning the Roe vs. Wade law and abortion in the U.S was not a simple task. In the first essay, I wrote to convince my audience that the Roe vs. Wade law did not consider some specific religious, social and ethical aspects of the women in U.S. Furthermore, I had to do more research on pre and post-Roe vs. Wade law and how it has changed the way abortion is done. I also ensured that my writing was audience-centered to ensure that I would persuade them. Using different communication skills was my main objective because my audience was conversant with the law. Therefore, my writing was highly influenced by my audience because it was meant to persuade them that the Supreme Court ruling on abortion overstepped its role in the interpretation of the fourteenth amendment.
