Camp Kennebec’s Media Plan
Print Magazine/ Newspaper
In this media channel we will focus on visuals/ colors to attract people to view our advert. There will be less words. The pictures of a few kids enjoying their time at Camp Kennebec’s will be used together with great colors such as blue, green and yellow. The title of the advert will lead, Camp Kennebec Summer Camp written using a combination of fonts and colors used in advertising kids events. Activities the kids will carry out at the summer camp will be listed in bullet points after the images of the kids. Since we provide many activities, there will be a collage of pictures about these activities. At the bottom of the poster, the location and contact information will be given.
The creative rationale is that colors often play a major role in psychology. The use of a combination of colors that show happiness such as yellow, orange and green will play an important role in portraying Camp Kennebec’s as the best summer destination for camping.
We will utilize the magazines that are produced monthly that I almost two months before summer. Our advert will be running in these magazines once in a month hence we will have two adverts/campaigns. Magazines chosen will be limited to those produced locally in GTA, Kingston and Ottawa region.

In digital advertising, we will focus on the use of small funny videos that will be about 40 seconds long. The videos used will focus on the use of motion effects and all the events and activities one can carry out at Camp Kennebec’s will be mentioned accompanies with the videos.
