Date The Social And Environmental Impact Of Coachella Valley Music Festival And Integration Of Triple Bottomline Economic Approach In Event Organization Introduction Coachella Valley Festival (CVF) is among these big events that cause not only environmental problems but also bring immense benefits for organizers and local communities. For sustainable enjoyment of such events, there is mounting pressure for consideration of environmental impact which calls for organizers to shift from profit orientation to the utilization of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework. In this regard, the current paper evaluates the positive and negative impact of the CVF. It provides recommendations for organizers to leverage TBL through all the business and marketing processes involved in organizing the event. About Coachella Music Festival The Coachella Valley Festival (CVF), also known as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music festival held at the Empire Polo Club in California's Indio. The event features a variety of musicians across notable genres like indie, pop, hip hop, electronic dance music, and rock. Aside from music, music enthusiasts also get to experience trendy food carts, art exhibits, trendy fashion, and sponsored areas. CVF was started in 1999 by Rick Van Santen and Paul Tollet and today, it is a two-weekends event that attracts over 100,000 concert lovers. Held on a 78-acre Empire Polo Club, the CVF is among the most critically acclaimed music festival in the world. According to Larasti (2019), Coachella is the second-largest music festival in America and the leading in terms of gross sales in the world. It is based on these views that people around the world highly revere Coachella. In 2013, for instance, both weekends sold out in less than an hour and attracted more than 80,000 people per day (LAD, 2013).
