In the future, I want to establish and own a plastic alternatives company. I want to make some headway in the fight against single-use plastic. As such, I want to develop recyclable alternatives to plastic and plastic-based products, as well as tech-savvy approaches to help individuals reduce their plastic waste. Besides giving myself a sense of fulfillment by trying to help our beleaguered planet, plastic alternatives also mean big business. For example, I envision myself creating alternatives to plastic cups and bottles by using biodegradable and edible packaging made from seaweed extract. I also want to create bamboo alternatives to plastic such as bamboo phone holders, bamboo straws, and bamboo razors and toothbrushes. Moreover, I want to develop biodegradable and recyclable plastic such as cloth hangers and packing materials for retail businesses. As determined by the HumanMetric Jung Typology Test, my personality is Advocate (INFJ-T), which means that I am not attracted to most corporate paths. Advocate personalities have a desire to help and change the circumstances around them. Individuals with Advocate personalities are also more likely to find independence by creating their own business or being in a leadership position. This is especially true because as an Advocate personality, I want an independent route that will allow me to implement my own ideas and focus on applying creativity, my personal touch, and altruism to everything I do. 2. What are your strengths, and how can you leverage those strengths to achieve your goals? According to the HumanMetric Jung Typology Test, my strengths are: Creative – I can combine my compassion with my imagination and use my creativity to alleviate challenges. I can leverage this strength because it will allow me to use my creativity to resolve challenges and restore peace. Thus, I can find the perfect solution for problems that arise, which in this case are recyclable alternatives to plastic. Insightful – I can see through dishonesty, as well as disingenuous motives. I can leverage this strength to step past manipulation and fraudulent business transactions into more honest business practices. Decisive – My creativity, inspiration, and insight can impact the world. I can leverage my decisiveness to help me achieve my goals by ensuring that I follow through on my ideas and make necessary plans to implement my projects. Convincing and Inspiring – I can speak in human and not technical terms. Further, I can be a good orator, speaking with passion and warmth, which will enable to convince individuals to switch to recyclable products. Altruistic – As an Advocate personality, I cannot promote beliefs or engage in any actions to benefit myself. This will help me achieve my future goals because my strong views will enable me to take the necessary steps needed to advance my ideas that I believe will help improve our beleaguered environment. Passionate and Determined – When I come to believe in a ce...
