Global refers to the increasing interdependences of global economies, populations, and cultures because of the international trade of goods and services, investment, technology, information, and people (Beck, 2018). Countries across the globe have enhanced economic partnership over a long period to facilitate globalization. Globalization increases the interactivity of people and services worldwide. Thomas Friedman holds that the world is flat and economic platforms, large and small, are interacting on the same scale. They are becoming a part of a complex and sizeable global supply chain. However, Friedman says he is confused about the impact of globalization, whether it is useful to the economy, as many economists believe, or a threat to the environment and social stability as environmentalists and labor advocates claim (Ghemawat, 2017).
