Gender Relation and Conflict
The main objective of the feminist theory is to comprehend the gender equality nature. It investigates the social roles of women and the experience lived. The theory not only provides a critique of social relations but also focuses on the analysis of gender inequality and the promotion of the rights of women, issues and interests. A number of feminists believe that matters concerning gender and conflict need to be highlighted. The theory also holds that in military and political practice, masculine is perceived as an idea which justifies the domination of males. Different writers give descriptions of the feminist theory on the basis different perspectives (Golan, 1997).
The most important point is to consider if gender influences approaches towards the various resolutions to conflicts. This is normally the case when debating the role of women and men in providing solutions to conflicts. There is a stereotype that men are less peace loving than women....
