Planning for the Persuasive Speech with Analysis Speech Topic: MY LIFE AFTER GRADUATION. Rhetorical Purpose: To persuade my audience to believe in my dream of being a sales executive at Verizon Telecommunication company.
Audience Analysis:(Refer to chapters on Audience Analysis & Persuasive Speaking) My audience will be my fellow students awaiting graduation. They like facts and can easily get bored thus, I emphasized my tone and analogy.
Persuasive claims:(refer to chapter on Persuasive Speaking) I gathered facts about Verizon's Telecommunication company and made sure their mission and work environment aligned with my interests. thus, It will be easier to persuade my audience as it is coming from the heart.

Please explain.I used the motivated sequence to capture the attention of my audience. I am passionate and determined to be a sales executive which makes it easier for me to capture the attention of my audience.

I intend to use scholarly materials to get my facts right. I will use secondary sources to define the duties and responsibilities of a sales executive and reference them in APA format. I found 4 websites and 1 article journal to cite my speech.
