Reflection 2 Name Institution Reflection 2 Ethical Ideology From the assessment of my scores, I have established that I fall under the category of idealistic perspective, which focuses on the effects of a decision or an action on the wellbeing of others. I believe that for any action to qualify as moral; its consequences should never have any negative impact on the immediate individuals. I feel that it is outright wrong to carry on with an action or decision that may have negative impacts on others. Consequently, I have encountered several ethical dilemmas that have served to broaden my critical thinking ability. Like any other student, I have faced the temptation of cheating in exams due to strict deadlines. I had been having hectic days back at home and did not get sufficient time to study for the paper. Fortunately, applying my ethical ideology, I took it upon myself to take the chance and maintain honesty – I passed the exam still. The other dilemma came in when searching for a part-time job.
