Power, in political science, is mainly defined as the capacity of certain entities to exert influence over the conduct of other individuals. This concept transcends personal, cultural, chronological and even International boundaries, which simply shows how it serves as a connection between the different events in our society. In other words, this shows that understanding how power relates to every aspect of our lives is important for a true appreciation and understanding of society.
Accordingly, this looking at the origins, causes, and effects of power is one of the main focus of political science.
