The advancements in science and technology help employees meet their deadlines, improve their overall performance and gain quick recognition, but numerous misconceptions are often associated with artificial intelligence, machine learning and industrial robots. For example, some people think that robots can easily replace healthcare workers in any hospital or clinic, but experts prove that they are only meant to assist doctors and nurses and should not be considered an alternative to humans. In this article, Mohammed Owais and Rumaiya Sajjad talk about the advantages and disadvantages of robots in different industries especially healthcare. In today’s competitive environment, there is a strong need to fully understand potential benefits of robots because the economy is being strengthened by innovative concepts of robotics (Qureshi & Syed, 2014).
