The author has used a language that is formal and one which can be read by any age groups but most importantly the target group which comprises of high school students who may have an opportunity to rectify their drinking behavior through the literature (O’Brien et,.al 2008). The writer did not use the first person all through his writing because he was not giving out his own experience but was using information which has been written by other people. Other than that he wanted to remain formal.
2. Does the author's argument move logically from one topic to the other? Explain
The author’s argument moves logically from topic to the other making it very easy to understand the literature. From the beginning, he gives a brief introduction to the problem and the people who have been involved in the study regarding underage alcoholism. After the brief introduction, he goes further ahead to explain in depth the individuals who have been most affected by addiction starting with age, ethnicity, Gender and a few more. It is easy to understand his argument from the beginning to the end.
3. Has the author pointed out areas that need more research? Explain
The author has led few sectors that require more research such as the reason why the drinking trends are on the rise while the college students are approaching the legal age. Additionally, he also emphasizes the need to why the performance of the college deteriorates as they increase their alcohol consumption.

Studies which have carried out show to what extent the problem has affected the college students to finally become a national problem. Through the studies, several solutions have been found. Additionally, some universities have put in place measures which only allow the consumption of alcohol very few times in a year if any. It has helped reduce alcohol-related problems to many of the students as well as the learning institutions in which they are taking studies.

It would be wise to have an account of the review if it was very lengthy. Having a report would enable most people to read it and get an idea of what the literature is all about. It is sometimes tough to read a long review and understand it. Through the summary, it would be easy to work the problem of underage alcoholism and also start on the implementation of the solutions that have been identified.
