After taking the political compass test, tell the class what your scores are and what they mean. Then, analyze why you believe the results or do not believe the scores. Finally, discuss how this course has been beneficial to your daily life and career choice. My score indicated that I inhabit the left quadrant of the political compass. The results are based on the social dimension score of 1.69 and an economic dimension score of 1.88. The score means that the state's interests are more important than those of an individual. People inhabiting this wing tend to support egalitarianism and equality. I partially believe in the results because most of the questions were posed in a way that did not leave room for socially acceptable answers. As well, I am not much interested in politics, as indicated by the results. However, I prefer that the government should ensure equality by protecting the rights of every citizen.
