The topic that is addressed by the research is the nutritional iron deficiency and how one can be able to avoid nutritional iron deficiency (NID) in the body. The research discusses the sources of iron in the body, and the role played by iron in the bodies of pregnant mothers. The study is exploratory in that it examines how the nutritional iron deficiency can affect the normal functioning of the body of a pregnant matter.
