There are various factor such as place, activities, interaction and characteristic of host that contribute to change in team’s ability to interpret unfamiliar gestures and cultural intelligence in general. Characteristic of host is among major factors that promote change in cultural intelligence. It is clear that personality traits is complicated and it is difficult to absolutely understand an individual. Study proves that personality has different attributes. Physical attributes, thoughts, emotions, behavior, habits and attitude differ substantially (Christopher, P. 2004). Therefore, personality has a role on determining emotional and behavioral traits of people. Due to substantial difference between individuals, values and beliefs of people are as a result of their own personality. Besides, measurement of personal trait states that there are different dimensions of personal traits. They include; extroversion, openness to experience, compatibility and responsibility. Individuals with different characteristics are hard to examine thus promoting change in a particular team’s cultural intelligence. Secondly, change of places promote shifts in cultural intelligence. Study indicate that exposure to a different culture and the previous culture has a mediating role between people’s cultural intelligence and cultural adaption.
