* Abstract-There is lack of essence and a clear identity in an object or idea of art. Abstract art can not reference any naturally occurring object, or may reference a natural object, but exonerate, simplify or distort the object.
* Non representational art- The visual forms lack representation and reference to any other thing.
4 What is the difference between looking and seeing?
Looking is the physical act of focusing on a certain object while seeing is the mental perception of an object based on what one is looking at, and how they recognize, connect the information and create meaning.
