112. In every situation, it is advisable that policy makers should conduct a careful study of the cause they want to take. This is not the case with the America. Politicians “propose laws without carefully studying” them. This may implement certain policies that may discriminate the rights of the citizens. They may hinder people from accessing certain services and service delivery to the citizens.
113. “Occupational Crimes” are committed during a legal process. They are as a result of business or professional practices. On the other hand “visible crimes” are categorized into violent crimes, property crimes and public order crimes. Violent crimes are those acts against other people resulting in physical harm. Public order crimes are those acts that threaten the general well-being of the public while property crimes threaten both private and public properties. Therefore, a suspect abused in a police station will be charged based on the ‘abuse’ suffered by the suspect. The judge will decide on the crime based on the evidence provided to him.
114. Legalized abortion is eliminated unwanted children. Researchers have compared the unwanted children born in hospitals to another group. They noted that the unwanted children are likely to grow up in harsh conditions and are more likely to engage in crimes. Consequently, they have noted that those who are denied abortion are likely to be engaged in crimes due to psychological effects.

Mala prohibita crimes carries no strong punishments and may lead to other crimes. Examples include drug abuse and driving under influence.

Sometimes organized crimes use terrorism to advance their agendas. Therefore, the 9/11 incidents can be said to be both organized crimes and acts of terrorism depending on the perspectives of an individual.
117. Crime rates in USA might be decreasing but the Americans do not believe so. The recent cyber-attacks in America has raised public concern about crime rates in the country. The perception of the Islam community as a terrorist group is another reason why Americans think crime rates are on the rise. Their presence in America looks like a threat to the country.
118. Some states have eliminated prison education programs to cut the funding allocated for such programs. This is done to provide enough funds for other public spending. However, eliminating education programs in prisons will lead to an increase in crime rates. Prison education enables offenders to acquire knowledge on how to handle certain situations and equips them with skills that will allow them survive without engaging in crimes.
