• Compare and contrast the fundamental differences between libel and slander and provide one (1) example of each term in question which demonstrates the key differences between them.

Provide one (1) example of his actions that meet the elements of a homicide.

Lamy, 969 A.2d 451 (N.H. 2009) and the born alive requirement that are discussed in Chapter 10 of the text, determine one (1) ethical issue that may arise from social debate as a result of the requirement in question. Next, speculate upon one (1) approach that the court could take in order to address the ethical issue in question. Justify your response.

• From the e-Activity (research articles on credit fraud), select one (1) credit fraud case which interests you the most, determine the key elements of credit fraud identification. Next, discuss the fundamental ways in which to detect credit fraud, and analyze the main reasons why it is difficult to prove such a fraud. Justify your response.
• Argue for or against this statement: Merchants and their employees should subtly screen their customers by asking for two (2) forms of identification in order to prevent identity theft. Next, suggest at least one (1) additional method that a business owner could take in order to curtail identity theft. Justify your response.

Police officers have a duty to serve the public and ensure that there is sanity in the society. They, therefore, need to work in an environment that is friendly for them to perform exceptionally well in their duties. Showing a police officer a rude gesture is bad and at times it could be seen as a threat (Shaikh et al., 2012). Criminals can use such symbol to show the officers that they have not won the battle and they will continue to disturb. At times after showing such a gesture to the police officer a confrontation may arise and it may cause the distraction in the society.
Libel and slander
Both words are defamatory statements and are different because libel is the written while slander is the oral defamatory statement. The slander statements are more common than the libel statements because they can happen at any place. It is not common to find some libelous comments in published or in written letters because editors keep eliminating them from the final publications.
Examples
Libel: Giving false evidence about a journalist saying that they have paid several people in order to interview them. It is unethical for the journalist to pay people who participate in different interviews. However, since the written statement is false it is said to libelous.
Slander: It is like telling your teammates that one team member failed to attend the game because he had been drinking the previous night. In the real sense nothing like that happened and for that reason, the statement is said to be slanderous. Once the information gets to the captain there are serious consequences for the actions.
