However, a person cannot change the structure of their handwriting consciously. Some parts will always remain the same or, after some time, retain their original format. The ransom note author was trying to hide the standard structure of their handwriting. The ransom note’s handwriting is seen as if it is written by the opposite hand (DocG, 2017). Using the opposite hand may hide the dominant hand’s normal handwriting. Moreover, the note is chaotic, with some letters leaning to the left, others to the right, and the rest arranged vertically. This disordered form of writing suggests that the writer was struggling to write. From the submitted handwriting samples, it is more probable that Mrs. Patsy Ramsey wrote the ransom note.
