Ups and Downs
Rosita has ups and downs with the husband in marriage, and she was hurt when she found out that her husband, Henry, was adulterous. However, he does not have the right to cheat on her even though he is a big-time TV producer. Maria Macdonald compared Rosita’s situation to that of her husband, who was faithful for 50 years until she passed on. However, she still feels the emptiness within her because her daughter’s marriage is not going on well, and yet she did not face the same situation with his husband.
Criterion E
Misbehavior. Zora is involved in self- destructive behavior like taking drugs. Initially, Zora’s mother could always worry about her and give other children less attention. Her childhood history negatively affected her personality, and she does not get along with her mother since she is against most of the things Zora does. As a result of Zora’s upbringing, she involves herself in various illegal activities like taking drugs.
