An assisted living facility is the housing facility for the elderly and disabled people. A person who is unable to live independently is allowed to reside here. Some people also call it a retirement home where some residential and healthcare facilities are provided to everyone. They are brought together and given a chance to spend the rest of their lives in a friendly and cooperative environment. Across the United States, several assisted living facilities are actively operating, and hundreds to thousands of retired people and disabled individuals are admitted there on a yearly basis.
Describe the Bismarck model of healthcare coverage.
Named after Prussian Chancellor Otto von Bismarck, the Bismarck model consists of a comprehensive insurance system that guarantees the availability of funds to the poor, the sick, and the elderly. The model was first introduced in the United Kingdom in the 19th century. Despite its European heritage, the Bismarck model is appreciated across the United States and Canada and is considered the most effective and well-versed insurance system.
