Leadership Video Reflection: Reflect on at least two things you learned from the "Servant Leadership - Issue of Authority" video.

The virtual ICU idea is being developed continuously to ensure that its applicability in the healthcare setting can be fully realized. Therefore, following the hospital protocols ensures that clinicians and physicians adhere to high standards when providing their services. By observing such interactions, it is possible to understand why they are in place, especially when problems occur. The leadership has to take responsibility for any actions under their direct supervision; hence, an individual's actions affect the entire chain. Thus, proper leadership ensures that the employees follow instructions hence can offer their support whenever problems occur in the case where no mistakes were made. Changes can also be implemented when a mistake caused a fatality to ensure that it cannot happen again.
Application of Leadership:
As a healthcare provider, I aim to influence others to provide care without any form of discrimination. I have learned that the simple things in life make a significant difference in the lives of individuals seeking assistance in the healthcare setting. Consequently, using my position to make such a difference in patients' lives will provide the fulfillment of my career choice. Furthermore, contributing to the industry through my project will further ensure that more people can benefit from such systems in the long run.
