The name Fatu Kekula is not new in the field of nursing. Her interview gave insights in the struggle she had to go through to save her family even she was just a nursing student. Her courage, will and fighting spirit helps her save three people from her family when the Ebola virus was found in Liberia in the year 2014. Her family doctor refuses to come at home and only guides her through phone. She had almost no resources to treat her family and no personal protective equipment but still, she nurses her father, mother, sister, and cousin and miraculously nurse them back to health. She protected herself from the virus by plastic trash bags, rain boots and rain jacket (Christensen & Cohen, 2014). She largely contributed in the field of nursing by showing the world that her education has empowered to use the limited resources available to her to the best of knowledge.
