Physicians play a key role in driving the cost and quality improvement initiative; therefore, it's important to have physical buy-in by engaging physicians as partners (Hoegerl et al, 2014). Physician buy-in will ensure that there are seamless and integrated clinical information and treatment plans shared across settings and among specialists (Hoegerl et al, 2014).
