These videos connect to the readings in the essence that they focus on the learning process, especially for individuals in the early grades and even to some extent, those from different backgrounds altogether. It is quite nice to take note of how the teachers support the learning of the students especially their comprehension and instructional conversations by providing them with the time to first think about the questions asked before responding. It gives the pupils time to digest and hence jog their imagination before responding. Setting up an interactive environment. Taking from the videos, I see myself taking up an interactive strategy in my classroom. Setting up an interactive lesson is vital in ensuring that the pupils are immersed in the learning process (Renner, 2018). They become part of the whole thing, and hence, become more interested in the class session.

Teachers should acknowledge that language demands that ELs face in account classrooms and utilizes scaffolding to meet these demands. The following are some of the scaffolding lessons that require support. Previewing and pre-teaching new vocabularies is a scaffold that assist ELs to understand academic content (Haynes, 2015). Teachers should learn to practice how to pronounce new words, terms, idioms and phrases. Using graphic organizers to make lessons extra graphical supports ELs. Graphic organizers are the most important scaffolds used in teaching content-area materials. Lastly, ELs can be supported by using sentence frames. Sentence frames allow EL to utilize key content area vocabularies. ELs can be able to write sentences on their own. These videos connect to the reading about reading instruction to ELs because they focus on the learning process for those people who are in early grade. For example pronunciation of words.
