Obesity has multiple influences, thus, and several causes support it to be high in U.S. Middle childhood development and obesity as it relates to school-age children in the country. For example, it is now more accessible for people in America to lead a sedentary life than 30 years ago. Modern technology has left little of childhood innocence intact; instead, children now spend their days behind computer screens – on video games, television shows, or on their phones. This low activity level leads to additional weight in the body (Click & Parker, 2023). Also, there are plenty of these highly processed, calorie-dense foods which contain too much sugar and fats in this world. One can access them quite fast at low costs, and this creates bad eating habits and overeating. Indeed, socioeconomic factors are influential. In some communities, there is a shortage of affordable, healthy foods and safe sporting grounds. Such options may entail cheap and highly calorific low-nutrient foodstuffs causing dependence.
