The video will be selected to ensure that it caters for the students with disabilities. For instance, when playing the video, I will ensure that everything is clearly visible and is accompanied by subtitles that are clearly visible. Ideally, the video that I have selected will allow the students to observe clearly and listen as the speaker pronounces different sporting words. In addition to this, I will request the students to repeat the words that are mentioned within the video. Thus, I will be required to pause the video at different points to allow them to memorize and understand the context of the words. The video will be played severally while engaging the students in question and answer. For instance, the first instance will be played using sound while the second round will be played without sound to enable them remember the sporting words. In addition, I will include images of sporting activities with descriptive words. The students will be required to identify the activities while pronouncing the words as every image is played on the screen. They will engage in various activities to build their vocabulary and understanding of sports-related words. The lesson will culminate in a hands-on activity where students create a sports-themed word collage.
