Topic:Students will discuss the impact and influence of rights for children (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, 1989) and examines the implementation of children’s rights in two different contemporary societies. The UN convention contains various articles that help the government and departments dealing with children's rights to protect the minors. The most significant reasons include the provision of basic needs and protection from any harm (Save the Children Fund, n.d.). The convention has implemented multiple programs to help children attain success in all aspects according to their potential. All children have fundamental rights and responsibilities that should be respected by everyone around them, including their parents. Most governments have the task of ensuring that the reasons are available to all children in their states, especially in developing countries. The convention has instituted distinct principles to protect children, enhance respect and adherence to their rights.

The law in the country demands that all minors have the right to proper medical care. Clinicians monitor all the children under the age of six years (France Diplomatie, 2017). After this age, parents who don't implement efficient health care or their children are followed up by social health workers to ensure adherence. Teachers are then granted the responsibility of educating older minors on various health issues like nutrition and addictions.

The state recognizes that every child has the right to acquire and enjoy the best health standards in the treatment of ailments and rehabilitation from various health issues. Also, the state has promised to ensure that all children access medical care without deprivation or constraints (Jaffe, 2018). Besides, the country has abolished different traditions and believes going against the desired health of children and laid strategies to ensure that all the children, including the needy individuals, are adapted in the treatment programs.

Although both countries have reaped many benefits from the implementation of children’s health care, New York has made a further step to protect children from traditional customs that may affect their health. France has also tried to reach the maximum delivery of healthcare for kids. However, the implementation of the principle has reduced mortality rates among infants and children in both countries.

Implementation of the policy in both countries results in the utmost health care for children resulting in a whole generation and reduction in the rate of deaths in the population.
