Differentiation refers to tailoring instruction to meet a person's needs. Irrespective of whether educators differentiate process, content, learning environment, or products, the application of ongoing flexible and assessment grouping is the reason behind the success of this approach to instruction. On the other hand, remediation refers to a teaching approach that incorporates re-teaching and reviewing material that a learner failed to understand in the first place completely.
