SQL is an inquiry language used to query and return desired data from a database (Harrington, 2003). SQL is used in various operations that are related to data. Several clauses are available in SQL. Clauses help in the filtering and analysis of data (Harrington, 2003). In this paper, the author explores four clauses.
The first clause is the Where clause. The Where clause is used to specify conditionals in an SQL query (Pajankar, 2020). In a Where clause, all the constructs are specified. For instance, if we are to find the details of employees who earn less than $30,000 and are below 30, there is only one condition, i.e., the salary of a given age group. In this case, both salary and age are required. No construct is optional.
