Individual Assignment #1 Home-Based Business Idea Business Coursework

Coursework Instructions:

I am attaching the doc with the instructions and the questionnaire developed by Small Business B.C.
My professor posted some links of business ideas to help, let me know if you need them and I will send it to you.

Identify, research and present a business idea for a home-based business. The idea should address a need (B2C or B2B), preferably one that has arisen because of the COVID-19 pandemic; however, this is not mandatory. What is mandatory is that there is a need.  The idea doesn’t need to be a new innovation.  It can be an existing product or service that’s not offered in this market or one that’s differentiated from existing offers in such a way that it creates demand.

The pandemic has affected virtually all aspects of our lives.  Bernhard Schroeder, Director of Lavin Entrepreneurship Centre, San Diego State University, suggests that there’s an opportunity for businesses to meet new needs that have developed as a result of the pandemic that has affected virtually all aspects of our lives. (Schroeder, 2020).  For instance, Dianne Buckner, CBC News, reports of firms that provide virtual services (funerals, veterinarian telemedicine, food delivery and an advertising firm).  (Buckner, 2020).
