Mission and Objectives
East Chestnut Regional Health System (ECRH) was formed as a merger of Archway Hospital (AH), East River Medical Center (ERMC), and Northern Mountain Hospital Consortium (NMHC). The organization’s vision is to deliver quality human and health services. In addition, ECRH’s mission statement is to improve the quality of life by excelling in service delivery. The core values of ECRH include integrated care, fairness, health equity, quality and safety, transparency, collaboration, and diversity and inclusion. The organization’s strategic objectives are to improve healthcare services, facilitate effective communication between medical professionals and clients, rebrand, recruit physicians, and adhere to all set regulations. In other words, ECRH is determined to make relevant changes so that it can meet its mission and vision, which converge on promoting the quality of life.
Organizational Structure and Culture
An organizational structure significantly impacts a company’s performance. In particular, it facilitates the effectiveness and efficiency of a firm’s operations (Gentile-Ludecke, Oliveira, & Paul, 2020). For example, when ECRH was formed as a merger of three hospitals, the leadership of the newly established organization had to be changed. In that light, the chief executive officer (CEO) of AH became ECRH’s new CEO and president. The organizational structure had to be changed to ensure that it aligned with the organization’s objectives, mission, and vision. ECRH's organizational culture is focused on fostering quality of life by providing proper medical services. That is why the firm has undergone various changes to ensure that it has the right people in the right leadership positions to facilitate its growth and development.
Current Marketing Strategies
ECRH deals with health-related products and services. Indeed, it is a large hospital that attends to the needs of its patients. ECRH has a team of highly qualified medical professionals who are ready to provide the best healthcare services. In particular, ECRH employs about 400 physicians from different regions, namely Chestnut, Walnut, Oak, Butternut, and Maple counties (“East Chestnut Regional Health System,” 2021). Since ECRH serves patients from different social classes and demographics, the prices of its products and services are affordable. Besides, the primary objective of this hospital is to improve the quality of life. Physicians are highly trained, experienced, and skilled. They deliver proper healthcare services to their patients directly. ECRH intends to promote its products and services through marketing. For instance, some of the elements that the CEO wants to be included in the firm’s marketing plan include rebranding, physician recruitment, an advertising campaign for oncology, and effective communication to avoid legal issues.
