Application of "The Golden Rule" in Business

Coursework Instructions:

**Two paragraphs** on this please
The Yale Baby Study asks this fundamental question: are human beings inherently good and born with a sense of morality?
Or do babies grow to be the inevitable product of what the world, with all of its flaws, teaches them?
As we proceed in life, we face difficult choices that test the person we would like to believe we are. In "Blind Spots," Bazerman and Tenbrunsel look at the field of "behavioral ethics" and the many ways conflicts are manifested.
Finally, in the Dupont case, we see the dynamic tension between the manufacturing jobs created by and the advantages of Teflon, and the profound personal harm caused by the chemical.
Here is your reflection prompt:
One of the most fundamental teachings in all cultures is the "golden rule:" treat others the way you wish to be treated. Do you think it is possible to be successful in business while following this rule? Can you see how it's possible to believe that you would follow the golden rule but, when faced with a tough business choice, you might do something else? Are there exceptions from "the golden rule" for huge corporations that create revolutionary products and hire lots of people?
I attached all the required reading for this week assignment. You may find it helpful. Please message me if you have any question!

In other words, firms should prioritize the relationships they create with their clients. That way, many customers are likely to be loyal and would return for more goods and services, leading to increased profitability.
Specifically, I can perceive how it’s possible to adhere to the golden rule, but when faced with a challenging business choice one might do something else. Article 1 of the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” asserts that hum...
