Music can be fast or slow, depending on the flow of the beats to the song being sung. From the music Romeo and Juliet, we get to see how the rhythm is being maintained. The guitars, saxophones and drum beats are in rhythm with the song being sung. The soloist guides the singers to sing in unison with the rhythm of the hits. He tries to set the speed of the beats by pointing at specific angles to indicate either they increase the speed or slow down. The rate of the beats determines the speed of the song; if the song is sung faster than the beats, then the song is said to be fast. On the other hand, if the song is sung at a slower rate than the beats, then the slow is said to be slow. A good song should be sung in parallel with its rhythms, then the song can be said to have been well composed.
