Finish the attached exam, based on TV SHOW Mahabharat 2013.

Section 2: Short answer questions (no more than 3 sentences each!):
1. During their final year of exile, which they pass in anonymity in king Virata’s court, how do each of the Pandavas and Draupadi disguise themselves?  
2. Abhimanyu is trapped and killed inside Drona’s chakra formation. What is unique about this battle formation? Who is the last person to strike Abhymanyu before his death?
3. What are the vows of the five Pandavas during the war (in regard to the Kauravas)?
4. What are the rules of the Kurukshetra war? 
5. Why does Bhishma swear to a life of celibacy? 
6. How does Arjun win Draupadi’s hand during her Swayamvar?
7. Shikandhini holds a grudge against Bhishma which began in her previous life as Amba. What is the story behind this animosity and how does she succedd in killing him during the war? 
8. During the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna lists three qualities: Rajas, Tamas and Satva. What do each of these qualities represent and who in the epic can you identify with them (you only need to give one character example for each)? 
9. What is Yudhishthir’s offer during the peace negotiations and what is Duryodhan’s response? 
10. In the Hindu view of the world, the universe can be likened to a Hiranyagarbha (a golden egg/womb). Explain this concept. (I do not need a lengthy explanation, just a general outline of how this principle works)
11. Why does Shakuni swear revenge on the Kuru dynasty? 
12. What is Yudhishthir’s reasoning that Kunti’s words to share Draupadi cannot be ignored or forgotten? Why does he believe they would eventually cause discord between the five brothers?   
13. How does Draupadi convince Bhishma to accept her marriage to the Pandavas? 
14. What promises do the Pandavas make to Draupadi during their wedding? How do they arrange their marriage in order to assure its success and make it righteous? 
15. How does Gandhari attempt to protect Duryodhan towards the end of the war? 
16. How does Lord Krishna save Draupadi during the dice game? 
17. During the Bhagavad Gita, Arjun asks Lord Krishna if bhakti (devotion) to one’s husband, friends, wife, guru, general etc. grants moksha (liberation). Krishna answers that it does not. Why? 
18. What is Draupadi’s argument during the dice game? Why does she believe Yudhishthir had no right to stake her? 
19. During their exile, each of the Pandavas is tested by a god. How does Shiva test Arjun and how does Dharma test Yudhishthir?
20. Although Duryodhan arrives first to ask for Krishna’s assistance in the war, how does Krishna manipulate the situation so as to end up on Arjun’s side? 
21. How does Krishna help Arjun kill Jayadrath (the one responsible for Abimanyu’s death and Draupadi’s kidnapping during their exile)? 
22. What is Indra’s reasoning for asking Karna for his armor in charity? Why can it not be used during the war and what is Arjun’s response? 
23. How does Yudhishthir trick Drona into believing Ashwathama is dead without actually resorting to dishonesty? Also, who kills Drona and how?
24. When Karna gives away his armor as charity to Indra, the god gives him a weapon in return which can be used only once to destroy any named enemy. Naturally Karna plans to use this weapon against Arjun. How does it end up being used in the end?  
25. Whose last rites are being performed when the night battle begins? 
26. How does Arjun summon goddess Ganga when Bhishma asks to see her after his fall? 
27. After the war, when the Pandavas return victorious to Hastinapur, how does Dhrithrashtra try to kill Bheem and how does Krishna protect him? 28. In the end, who kills Shalya (Nakul and Sahadev’s uncle)? 
29. On the second day of the war, how does Yudhishthir lead Bhishma away from the battlefield so Bheem can attack Duryodhan? 
30. Where is Duryodhan hiding when Bheem approaches him for the final battle (right after Shakuni has been killed)?
Section 3 Essay type question (but please stick to only the basics): 
1. Explain thoroughly the concept of atman (soul), how it ties in with Karma Yoga (action) and how this in turn ties in with bhakti (devotion) (this is part of the Bhagavad Gita). I want a thorough explanation of this conversation between Krishna and Arjun.
