Question One
Both Pandavas and Draupadi disguise themselves in order to remain undetected. The Pandavas were disguised differently; Yudhisthira became skilled in scriptures and rules and decided to serve as an advisor to the king. Bhima, because of his huge body, decided to work as a chief in the royal kitchen. Arjuna disguised himself as eunuch as he was teaching dance and music. Nakul became a guard to the horse stable, and Sahadeva became the controller of the cow-sheds. Draupadi disguises herself as a maiden to the queen Sudeshna.
Question 2
The uniqueness of the Drona’s chakra formation is based on the pattern of soldier formation. The soldiers used a puzzling arrangement where they moved in the form of a spinning wheel, and this approach maintained the warriors in positions that were tough to fight. Kauravas would be responsible for causing Abhymanyu’s death.
Question 3
The five Pandavas during the war, Yudhishthira vowed that he would break through the ranks in search of Shalya. Besides, Bhima took vows to revenge on the people who berated Draupadi and wanted to drink Dushashana’s blood. Arjuna had vowed to kill Jayadratha, and Nakul took vows to kill Shalya.
Question4
The rules of the Kurukshetra war included that the fight had to start not earlier than sunrise and that it should end at sunset. Multiples warriors would not be allowed to attack a single warrior, and two warriors were permitted to engage in personal combat. Further, warriors were not allowed to kill or injure the warriors who had surrendered, and the warriors would not kill the unarmed warriors.
Question 5
Bhishma swears to a life of celibacy after he surrendered his rightful claim to the throne, and this was after Dasraj, Satyavati’s father, declined to give his daughter’s hand to marry Bhishma’s father. Bhishma decided to sacrifice his crown-prince after his father became despondent and discouraged after the failed marriage, and he made a decision to serve whoever occupied the throne.
Question 6
Arjun won Draupadi’s hand during her Swayamvar after he successfully completed the tasks that had been planned by King Drupad. The task included the shooting of an arrow into the eye of a rotating target by looking at its reflection in the water.
Question 7
Shikandhini holds a grudge against Bhishma, and this animosity is attributed to Shikandhini’s past experiences where she was abducted by Bhishma, who is also regarded as being responsible for the misfortunes that she experienced. This made Shikandhini seek revenge. She succeeded in killing him during the war after she received a boon from Lord Shiva, and whoever wore the garland would have the ability to kill Bhishma.
Question 8
